In the dog training business, what you use is just as important as what you do. Dogs need specific tools to help them learn in the most effective way possible. They also need toys and other products to keep them entertained. If these products are not high quality you will find yourself replacing them very often. Where to Buy

There are a lot of places that sell dog toys. Many of them are inexpensive and cheap products that are good for a couple of uses if you’re lucky. We have gone through and used thousands of different kinds of products throughout our years of training. We have found tons of products that don’t last, and a few that do. The place that we have found that sells the best products by far is called Ruff Swag. They manufacture many of their own products, and sell other products for retail. We get almost all of our supplies from Ruff Swag, because everything they sell we have found to be high quality and a premium product. There are certainly other places to buy dog products, but Ruff Swag is great because everything is high quality and it’s all in one place.

There are many types of dog products. There are some for obedience training, others are meant to engage your dog with you, some are meant simply to keep your dog occupied while you’re gone, and there is a lot more where all those came from. There are products that it is clear every dog owner should have, like a leash, a collar, a crate, food and water bowls etc. You know, the essentials. However, we believe there are many things that are essential to having a good obedient dog. These include an elevated bed, a crate, engagement toys, and toys that will keep your dog busy while you’re away. There are also specific toys that can be beneficial to dogs with particular issues.

Take, for instance, a dog that has strong separation anxiety. Separation anxiety is where a dog gets very nervous when its owner is gone. This will cause the dog to get nervous and even destructive. This is why many times owners will come home to a ripped up couch or scratched door. If this has happened to you, there is a solution.

You’ll need a crate, and a Classic Kong Toy. What we do is fill the Kong toy with raw hamburger meat, and freeze it overnight. Then, when we leave we put our dog in its crate with the Kong toy. It takes her hours to get all the meat out, and she is so distracted doing that, she doesn’t even care that we’re gone.
